Pisces rules the 12th house and is ruled by both Jupiter and Neptune. Pisces is spirituality, all things unseen, it’s the subconscious, dissolving boundaries, softening, feminine energy and in its shadow can be codependent, addictive with many escapist tendencies.
Pisces’ inability to set boundaries creates or encourages an escapist attitude which can have us getting lost in addictions of all sorts. We all have something, no one is exempt from escapist tendencies, it just all looks differently for each of us. Some are “healthier”, some are destructive, and some fly under the radar unseen by outside eyes, but I promise, there is something in each of us. Every single one of us has Pisces in our chart.
Currently, in this New Moon we have Neptune, the North node, the Sun, the Moon, Saturn, Mercury, Ceres, and Nessus. This is huge, literally almost every planet is found in Pisces or very soon retrograding back into Pisces.
The Moon and Sun in themselves are square to Jupiter, calling in this expansion around communicating and being social, even social media. Pisces is deeply spiritual and dreamy so this could be expanding dreams, or downloads, but possibly making it hard to communicate or understand. The rulers of Pisces are Jupiter and Neptune. Jupiter again, is square to the Sun and Moon and Neptune is sitting at its final degrees of Pisces.
Squares are challenging aspects but also calling us to take action, it’s offering us an opportunity to turn inward and to do the work. There are no “bad” aspects, like anything else, it’s what you make it mean about you.
This is so much of the lessons I’ve been leaning into lately. We all know on a conscious level that we attach meaning to things. We see things from our lens and we can see it cup half full or cup half empty.
We’re being called to come into our body, to connect with our emotions. To see them, honor them, transmute them but of course, we’re also offered the opportunity to escape, disassociate or numb. This is the duality that is held in Pisces.
